Zar Macaron, a member of the Zar Industrial & Research Group, has been honored with the Golden Food Health Award at the National Food Health Festival. The award recognizes companies that demonstrate outstanding commitment to product quality, nutritional value, and the promotion of healthier food options within the food industry.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Zar Industrial & Research Group, the festival was held on August 25, 2025 (3 Shahrivar 1404) at the International Conference Hall of Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. During the ceremony, the Zar Group was recognized for the high quality of its products, its wide product portfolio, and its continued efforts to enhance health standards in the food industry.
At the event, Amir Pouya Ghandehari, R&D Manager at Zar Macaron and representative of the Chairman of the Board of Zar Group, received the Golden Health Trophy on behalf of the company.
In his remarks, Ghandehari highlighted some of the group’s recent achievements, stating:
“Zar Macaron currently offers four products in the field of medical foods, including pasta, bread mix, cake mix, and muffin mix specially designed for PKU patients. At this year’s festival, our PKU bread mix successfully received the Golden Food Health Certificate.”
He added that this recognition is particularly meaningful for the company, noting:
“This achievement is highly valuable for us, as it reaffirms the Zar Group’s commitment to its core mission—continuously improving the quality and health standards of our products.”
The National Food Health Festival, organized with the collaboration of the Iranian Association of Food Science and Technology, aims to promote healthier food production and raise awareness about nutrition and food safety. The event is considered one of the country’s significant scientific and industry gatherings, providing a platform for showcasing innovations and encouraging higher health and quality standards across the food sector.
