The 20th season of Iran’s First Division Women’s Taekwondo League (Kowsar Cup) concluded with a dominant championship victory by the Zar Macaron Taekwondo Team, representing the Zar Industrial & Research Group.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Zar Group, the final matches were held on Friday, February 7, at the House of Taekwondo in Tehran. Delivering a strong and consistent performance throughout the season, the Zar Macaron team secured the championship title with a total of 586 points.
In the final standings, Banasaz Farmanieh finished second, while the Kheiri Taekwondo Academy claimed third place.
Individual Honors for the Zar Macaron Team
In addition to the team’s championship success, members of the Zar Macaron squad received prestigious individual awards:
- Fatemeh Fardi was named Iran’s Best Coach
- Elham Navaei earned the title of Most Technical Player of the Competition
This achievement comes alongside other recent sporting successes for the Zar Group, including the men’s football team securing the runner‑up position at the Alborz Province Workers’ Championship in recent weeks.
These consecutive accomplishments reflect the Zar Group’s senior management’s continued commitment to supporting professional sports, with particular emphasis on women’s athletics and the working community.
